Higher Education Commission (HEC) announced sports scholarships for two students of Sindh University Jamshoro following their fantastic performance in 36th national games 2012 held in Lahore. According to Director Sports (Boys), Sindh University boxers Hussain Shah and Israr Shah stood first in boxing competition held in Lahore and succeeded to get Gold and Bronze medals, respectively.

They remained unbeatable throughout the competition in national level event. Thus, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) selected both of them for its sports scholarships for the period of one year.
